“PS-1” is a projection mapping piece created by Kedr for EFEST 2021 and shown on the facade of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The work follows the first artificial satellite of the Earth: a small object launched into space, losing contact with home and searching for its way back. During the show, the theatre facade becomes the screen for this journey, turning into a launch site, an orbital field, and a point receiving a distant signal.

Through light, animation, and architectural transformation, the project links the theme of space flight with the plasticity of a historic building. It is a short visual story about movement, memory, and return, designed specifically for the urban context of Perm and for an open-air festival presentation.
