— Task and context
For the 2018 Circle of Light festival in Kolomenskoye Park, we worked as invited artists and created several outdoor installations for the walking route of the festival. One of the pieces focused on lion sculptures: through mapping, the stone figures transformed into different members of the cat family and seemed to be relocated into their natural habitats.
The second work was built around a projection mesh stretched between trees, where a gnome raised a magical tree. Both scenes were conceived not as “screens in a park” but as part of the overall landscape dramaturgy. The project was produced within the Moscow Government festival programme, coordinated by the LBL communication group, which also developed the general concept and scenario of the site.
