One of our early interactive sandboxes, assembled as a test project but already fully functional at the intersection of Kinect, TouchDesigner, sand, and projection. By reshaping the surface with their hands, visitors could immediately see it turn into a living map responding to height, form, and movement.
We took this sandbox to several club venues, so it quickly moved beyond a lab prototype. Its strength was clarity: a very simple physical gesture produced a strong visual response and engaged the audience without the need for explanation.
