Interactive Pumpkin Mapping

An interactive projection installation in which the visitor’s facial expressions are transferred onto a three-dimensional object, such as a pumpkin. The system is based on an ultra-compact battery-powered projector and a mobile phone, so it can be deployed quickly in a shop window, at an event, or inside a temporary exhibition. The camera tracks the user’s face, stylizes it, and projects it onto the object in real time. Both the content and the object itself can be adapted to the venue, from a seasonal display to a branded installation.
