The project for Typomania 2017 was created together with mshbrdk as a night-time mapping piece on a concrete PO-2 fence. The main idea was to build a typeface directly from the grid of the fence: its structure became both the visual system and the constraint around which the whole piece was assembled.
It was a street-based, almost guerrilla-style work: we mapped it at night, effectively straight from a car. The video was created for Typomania and is particularly interesting for the way a typographic concept was transferred not into print, but onto a specific urban surface.
